1. Reflections of the Swamp Fox
Each mural of The Swamp Fox Mural Trail has a fox hidden within the mural. The moniker "Swamp Fox" was given to Francis Marion by British Lt. Col. Banastre Tarleton, who was frustrated in his attempts to catch Marion. In this mural, the fox is in the center as the reflection of Marion in the pond.
