1. Post Brother's Plow Marker

Inscription. Built by Charles R. Post in 1937 to reclaim farmlands ruined by floods, the Post Brothers' Plow is considered to be the world's largest plow. Measuring 37 ft. long, 12 ft. high, and 11 ft. wide, with a blade of 86 in. it was pulled by five 100 drawbar h.p. D-8 Caterpillar tractors.

Erected 1978 by Orange County Board of Supervisors and Orange County Historical Commission. (Marker Number 24.)

1. Missing
It's come to my attention. The last 2 years that I've come by 2 check on it on Brookhurst Street. The plow is missing along with the marker attached to it. I'm really concerned about where it went.

2. Current location of Post Brothers Plow
The plow is now located at Blakey Historical Park. Address: 8612 Westminster Boulevard, Westminster CA 92683, United States of America. The plow is on loan to the park. The museum is open on the first Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m. not including Holidays. Call for more info (714) 891-2597.
