Inscription.
Flew first air cargo mission to Omaha Beach (T-1, first temporary air strip). Returned to England with the first air evacuation of wounded from the Continent, 11 June 1944

The 313th Transport Squadron, supported by personnel of the 806th and the 811th Medical Air Evacuation Squadrons, participated in five campaigns, transporting priority cargo, passengers and evacuating wounded.
