Inscription. Lewisville Academy, the first public high school in Forsyth County, was established in 1901. Lewisville Academy became a part of the consolidated Forsyth County School System in 1907. This site has served as the location of three subsequent public schools.

Erected 1998 by Lewisville Historical Society.
