Brookstown United Methodist Church. Established 1853. Founded by the Phillip N. Mock family who gave one acre of land for the church. Founding members of the congregation donated timber and labor for the construction of the original, single-room log building. The second building was constructed in 1914. The third and present building was built in 1937 and dedicated in 1939. The church maintains its history of a loving and devoted congregation, through worship, witnessing and ministry to the people of the church and the community. . This historical marker was erected in 2011 by Lewisville Historical Society. It is in Pfafftown in Forsyth County North Carolina
