The dedication of the Sacred Heart Church, Cornlea, Nebraska was November 4, 1908. The church bell was purchased by the parish on December 15, 1908, for $188.87 plus freight of $7.80. The church was closed and the bell sold in 1974.
Erected 1992 by Columbus Community Foundation, Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, and Concerned Citizens and Organizations.
