Inscription.  The Salvation Army-“While women weep, as they do now, Iíll fight. While men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, Iíll fight. While there is a drunkard left, while there remains one dark soul, without the light of God, Iíll fight. Iíll fight to the very end.” –General William Booth, Founder, The Salvation Army. On this Spot the Salvation Army Commenced its work in Baltimore October 17, 1880
