1. William Maclay Marker
Inscription.  In the stone house opposite lived William Maclay, who as a member of the first U.S. Senate, wrote a famous Journal of its debates. A critic of Washington and Hamilton. Pioneer leader of Jeffersonian Democracy.
 
Erected 1946 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
