1. Alum Rock Log Cabin Marker
Inscription. The log cabin was built 1914-1916 as a memorial to the pioneers and was donated to the City of San Jose on September 24, 1916. The cabin is constructed of redwood logs from the Santa Cruz Mountains. This log cabin provides an example of the physical surroundings in which past generations lived and worked.
 
Erected 1982 by Native Daughters of the Golden West, Vendome Parlor No. 100.
