Garfield's Hotel & Tavern

One of the earliest stopping places on Lake George. Other hotels on this site were Arthur's Phoenix, and Beachside with the Cave Bar. The original owner was Nathaniel Garfield, a Revolutionary War soldier. The Garfields were political leaders in Hague. The family plot is in the Hague Heritage Cemetery.
