To commemorate the Ideals and Services of the Old Hopewell Academy and the faithful labors of the Teachers who here through many years brought to the youth of this community inspiration for life through the text books they taught and the personalities they revealed in their work.

Erected 1939 by Graduates, Former Students and Friends.
