Inscription.
Under intense pressure from the Massachusetts Continentals and New York and Massachusetts militia, units of the German Brunswick and Hesse-Hanau regiments were forced back from this site near the center of the battle line.

Location. Marker has been permanently removed. It was located near 43° 0.023′ N, 73° 38.932′ W. Marker was in Stillwater, New York, in Saratoga County. It was on Park Tour Road, on the left when traveling south. Marker is in Saratoga National Historical Park, along the auto tour road between stops 1 and 2. Touch for map. Marker was in this post office area: Stillwater NY 12170, United States of America.
