1. The Canadian Cabins Marker
Inscription.
Two small fortified cabins defended by Canadian troops stood about 600 feet south of this site. These cabins were an important link in the British line of defense as can be seen on the reproduction map drawn by an English officer. Their capture late in the afternoon of October 7 exposed the Breymann Redoubt to attack from the rear.

Location. Marker has been permanently removed. It was located near 43° 0.517′ N, 73° 38.39′ W. Marker was in Stillwater, New York, in Saratoga County. It could be reached from Park Tour Road, on the left when traveling north. Marker is in Saratoga National Historical Park, along the tour road at the Breymann Redoubt tour stop. Touch for map.
