From around 1485 to 1543 this house was in the possession of the Zeller Family, citizens of Innsbruck. Walter Zeller the Elder, during the time of his office as magistrate in 1495, had the remarkable fresco of quaternions or imperial eagle installed, combined with the arms of the "Anointed Kings" of France, England, Scotland and Sicily. The partially damaged bay window decoration comes inscribed with a rare house blessing that originates from the time of Walter Zeller the Younger (died 1543). .

Looking north up Herzog Friedrichstrasse, one can barely make out the Zeller House, roughly the fourth building up the street on the right side. Also visible further back are the Stadtturm (City Tower) on the right side at the end of the street, and the Goldene Dachl (Golden Roof), where the street ends.
