This plaque dedicated August 17, 1979 for his effort in establishing on this site the first Strawberry Hill Summer Concert on June 25, 1978, featuring the St. John C. C. [Catholic Church] Tamburitzans, a group devoted to preserving the Croatian musical heritage in the city of Kansas City, Kansas.
