Marker is on Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest east of 6th Street Northwest (U.S. 50). The inscription is on the back of the concrete bench which forms the inner west wall of the memorial - in the fountain park occupying the traffic island at the east end of the "Federal Triangle". It is directly across Constitution Avenue from the National Gallery of Art and across Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest from the Newseum complex and the Embassy of Canada. Touch for map.
