1. The Blackstone Marker

Inscription. The Blackstone was designed as an apartment hotel building in Renaissance Revival style. It was a prominent feature of Long Beach's fledgling skyline, belonging to a group of downtown "high-rise" residential structures built in the early 1920's that accessed the popular beach and amusement features.

Erected 1989 by City of Long Beach Cultural Heritage Commission.
