Regarding Reformed Dutch Church of Tappan. The present church was built in 1835 and is the third church at this site. Architecture Federal and Greek Revival. The second church was the one in which the André trial was held as denoted by this marker. It was used as prison and hospital after Baylor Massacre in 1778.
