Inscription.
Historic Building
Cornelius Webster, a bricklayer, constructed this house in 1881. Its single story, brick design is somewhat unusual for this time period. The house has had four owners, with Webster owning it until 1891. Subsequent owners include: Henry Van Hovenberg from 1891 to 1951; Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Larson from 1951 to 1989; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carpenter purchasing the property in 1989.
