Historic Building Miria Gans constructed this Victorian style house in 1891. As this house was being constructed, the house located at 713 Fourth Avenue and the Eau Claire Senior High School that was located across the street were also under construction. The house was utilized for rental housing until the early 1930s, providing an important component of Eau Claire's early housing stock.
