Throughout its history,
Niagara has prepared its
graduates in peace and war
for service to America. From the
Civil War to both World Wars
and Vietnam, its men and women
have served with distinction.

This monument commemorates
those who served in all
branches of the military.
During the Korean War;
in particular those reserve
officer training corps
graduates who became front
line infantry leaders.

Location. 43° 8.272′ N, 79° 2.194′ W. Marker is in Lewiston, New York, in Niagara County. Memorial is at the intersection of Campus Drive and Varsity Drive, on the left when traveling east on Campus Drive. Five plaques of the memorial, ordered left to right on this panel, are on the south exterior wall of Dunleavy Hall. The Colonel Donovan Swanton plaque is on a stone to the right of the plaques. The killed in action plaque is in front of the infantryman statue. The memorial is on the grounds of Niagara University. Campus Drive is closed to vehicular traffic. Touch for map.
