Memorial is at the intersection of Riverview Drive and Hamilton Street, on the right when traveling north on Riverview Drive. Monument is in Ives Park on the east bank of the Raquette River near the intersection of Riverview Drive and Hamilton Street. More about this marker. On October 15, 2016 this monument was moved to Ives Park. It was about five or six car-lengths south of the intersection at the front lawn of the downtown Snell Hall (not Snell Music Theater on the SUNY campus). Park Street connects NY 56 northbound through downtown.
