Inscription. The Downtown Taneytown Main Street Organization dedicates this sign restoration to the Taneytown community.

The "Zile's Ice Cream“ sign was originally completed in the 1920's by Roy Strine and restored in the year 2001 by Lewis Shlitt. It is a perfect illustration of advertising of the period.
