David Froman discovered his love of theater while simultaneously earning a master's degree from Pittsburg State University. He later received his doctorate from Kansas University and moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. He was soon cast as the evil character "Gunther" on the soap opera "The Edge of Night" and later landed a recurring role in the NBC series "Matlock" with Andy Griffith. He returned to teach part time at NEO [Northeast Oklahoma A&M College] and to act with the Miami Little Theater on the Coleman Stage for many years.
