Inscription. You are entering one of the world's last remaining ancient coast redwood forests. This magnificent forest...with its redwoods, the tallest of living things...is protected and made accessible to the public by the National Park Service for the pleasure, education, and inspiration of present and future generations. We hope you enjoy the cool, quiet serenity of this living, ever-changing forest world. (Inscription under the photo on the bottom right) "This is the best tree-lover's monument that could possibly be found in all the forests of the world."
