Additional commentary.
1.
Murray Griffin was my dad. I was his first born from his marriage to Ramona Vincent. My parents divorced when I was nine years old and Mom moved to Florida, taking my sister, Chontee and myself. I didn't see my dad again until I was twenty nine, with a family of my own.

I had just gotten to know my dad when he was killed. My children never got to meet him, or to know what a loving man he was.

I came across this page while doing genealogy research. My children have seen the newspaper reports of Dad's murder. It's good to be able to show them something that tells how well respected their grandfather was.

Thank you, Rev. Ronald Irick for making this possible.
