Daughter of Robert Burns Lindsay, Governor of Alabama 1870.
Teacher of Alabama's first kindergarten - 1898.
Ranks as one of the greatest kindergarten teachers in the world.
Author of 14 books for children.
Maud Lindsay was a close friend of Helen Keller.
