1. Augusta College Marker
Inscription. In 1822 the trustees of Bracken Academy with conferences of the Methodist Church of Kentucky and Ohio, merged to found Augusta College. The first established Methodist college in the world.
 
Erected by Kentucky Department of Highways. (Marker Number 94.)
