Inscription.
This photo shows the earliest version of the 1920 Jack Rabbit coaster and its loading station - which burned in 1923. The station has been modified over the years (see the 1950's inset with banners and ticket booth) and the ride has been rebuilt many times, but with no major layout changes. Classic features found on this Miller & Baker coaster include skid brakes, wooden brake levers, first hill sign, and final tunnel at the end. The old cars (insets) included open fronts with little restraint, and later the "headlight look" shown here with some employees and their families from the 1950's.
Today, the venerable Jack Rabbit is the oldest continually operating coaster in America.

Erected by Seabreeze.
