Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad Depot
Built in 1899, the depot was designed by famed Chicago architects, David Burnham and John Welborn Root. It contained a passenger waiting area, ticket office, lunch counter, baggage room, and offices for the C. B. & Q. Railroad's main Creston Division. This depot was the employment site for approximately 70 railroad employees.
This building is presently listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
