and sailors of the United States, killed
in action, or dying of wounds, in this vicinity
during the War of 1812.

It is on Scott Avenue half a mile north of Main Street (New York State Route 18F), on the left when traveling east. Memorial is in a small cemetery adjacent to Fort Niagara Lighthouse on the grounds of Old Fort Niagara State Park. The cemetery is sandwiched between Scott Avenue and the Niagara River.
