Inscription.
To our veterans
who served on land, sea, or air.
You stood there ready
to defend our country
in time of peace.
In war,
you suffered its horrors,
were wounded,
were prisoners of war,
are missing in action,
or perished.

We salute you all
for protecting our freedom
at home and around the world.
May all generations
remember your strength,
courage, devotion to duty,
and love of country.

All veterans gave some,
many veterans endured more,
some veterans sacrificed all.

Dedicated to our men and women
in the North Union District
who served in the
United States Armed Forces
in peace, conflict, or war;
past, present, future.
