1. The Veitch House Marker
Inscription. The house was erected in the 1870's by Mr. Veitch. It has served well for many folks through the years. Dr. W. W. Stockman used it as an office and residence for many years during the 1920's. It was the first real meeting house in Pioche for the L.D.S. Church. It was rented for several years and then rather than deserting it, it was restored in 1983 to serve as a reminder of the historical period it represents.
