4. 851 O'Farrell Street
This 4 story reinforced concrete building designed by Righetti and Kuhl was build in 1908 by Antoine de Bua Blanco as Blanco's Hotel and Restaurant to replace the Poodle Dog Restaurant (at Mason and Eddy Streets) destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and fire. It was later the Taft Hotel.
