1. Faurot Opera House Marker
Inscription. Built on this site by Benjamin C. Faurot, one of Lima's most prominent citizens. The grand opening was held Sept. 4, 1882. Through the years, many famous actors, actresses, and musicians appeared on it's stage. The theatre was close June 1934 and the entire building razed January 1953.
 
Erected 1954 by Allen Co. Historic Sites Committee.

Marker is at the intersection of North Main Street and High Street, on the left when traveling north on North Main Street.
