Caption: Former Six Bells owner, Vic Figone and his wife, Elsie, at a ceremony with Judge Charles Baldwin (far left) and Attorney Thomas M. Carlson (far right), circa 1960.
Inscription.  
The Figone family's "Six Bells" restaurant stood near here for many years. Later Berkeley-born and well-known Major League Baseball player (and later manager) Billy Martin opened "Cerro Square" here in the early 1960s.

Every year, Nat King Cole would come and perform at the Six Bells Night Club, and my parents would always be there. I believe that was in the late 50's and 60's.
