Inscription. Second oldest textile manufacturing plant in Scotland County. Built by Mark Morgan in 1882. Powered by water wheels. Named in memory of Ida Malloy Morgan (1874-1876), deceased infant daughter of Mark and Margaret Cameron Morgan. Operated here until 1939.
