1. Pompton Reformed Church Marker
Inscription. Oldest existing church in Pompton Lakes founded 1812. Built and dedicated 1814 on land donated by Martin Ryerson, owner of The Pompton Ironworks. Noted author Albert Payson Therhune ((1872-1942) was a long time member of the congregation. Declared a local historic landmark 2001.
