Inscription. Five Gold Medal winner at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid (including four Olympic records). 1980 Sullivan Award winner for Outstanding Amateur Athlete in the United States. Only skater to win all three World Speedskating Championships, Junior, Sprint and All-Around 1977. Two-time World Junior Championship. Three-time World All-Around Champion. Five-time World Sprint Champion. Born June 14, 1958 - Madison, WI Elected 1990
