1. The Chiricahua Apache Marker
Inscription. This was the homeland of the Chiricahua Apache. From out of the north came these semi nomadic hunters. Separating from other Apache groups in the 1690ís, the Chiricahua Apache moved into southeastern Arizona.
 
Erected by National Park Service US Department of Interior.
 
Location. 32° 0.306′ N, 109° 21.456′ W. Marker is in Wilcox, Arizona, in Cochise County. Marker is on East Rhyolite Creek Road. Touch for map. The marker is on the grounds of the Visitor Center of the Chiricahua National Monument. Marker is in this post office area: Willcox AZ 85643, United States of America.
