Erected 2015 by the Cherokee Nation.
 
Location. 35° 51.138′ N, 94° 59.357′ W. Marker is in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, in Cherokee County. Marker is on Cottonwood Street 0.1 miles south of Muskogee Avenue (U.S. 62), on the left when traveling south. Touch for map. Memorial is on the Cherokee Nations Veterans Center grounds. Marker is in this post office area: Tahlequah OK 74464, United States of America.
