1. Memorial Marker
Inscription. So that all citizens of the City of Southfield will remember, this plaque is placed in memory of Mary Thompson, for her unselfish dedicated service to this community, for her decision to sell the land to the city where now stands our most beautiful Civic Center.
 
Erected 1971 by Southfield Historical Society.
