1. Damascus Marker
Inscription. Later name of Zeisberger's "Lower Town," located on opposite side of river here. Residence of a Seneca sentinel chief at the time. Town name was taken from the Munsee word, "muskrat."
Erected 1947 by Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
