2. Macedon Fallen Civil War Soldiers Memorial
The original tablets listing the fallen are encased on either side of the new memorial. The tablets are very worn. The right one is in six pieces. The left and right columns of names on the new memorial correspond respectively to the names on the original left and right tablets. South Erie Street is pictured across the background, beyond the sloping lawn.
County. Marker can be reached from South Erie Street mile south of Crest Avenue. Touch for map. Memorial is in Macedon Village Cemetery. It is on the closest gravesite road to the empty lawn that slopes down to South Erie Street. Marker is in this post office area: Macedon NY 14502, United States of America.
