Mazzante was a three-time Kodak All-American basketball star at Penn State University, and formerly held the Big Ten scoring record for both men and women. A graduate of Montoursville Area High School, she is a four-time all-state basketball selection and sits in fourth place on the state's all-time scoring list with 3,270 points. She went on to play in the WNBA for seven seasons, winning two WNBA championships. Mazzante also played professionally in Europe before retiring from professional baskeball in 2014.
