Erected 1961 by State of Georgia.
 
Location. 39° 47.932′ N, 77° 15.359′ W. Marker is near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in Adams County. Marker is on West Confederate Avenue, on the right when traveling south. Touch for map. Located just south of the Longstreet Observation tower in Gettysburg National Military Park. Marker is in this post office area: Gettysburg PA 17325, United States of America.
