1. Veterans Administration Hospital Marker
Inscription. Located one and a half mile south on Spring Valley Drive. Established, 1932, for the care and rehabilitation of American war veterans. A one hundred eighty bed General Medical and Surgical Hospital with dental and outpatient treatment.
 
Erected 1966 by West Virginia Historic Commission.
 
Location. 38° 23.942′ N, 82° 30.852′ W. Marker is near Kenova, West Virginia, in Wayne County. Marker is at the intersection of Waverly Road (U.S. 60) and Burlington Road, on the left when traveling west on Waverly Road. Touch for map. Carson Street, the next intersection east, becomes Spring Valley Road. Marker is in this post office area: Huntington WV 25704, United States of America.
