Catherine "Cate" Manley
Coffey, born in the
Bellevue Section of Scranton,
graduated from The University
of Scranton in 1986
with a BS in accounting.
Cate was to be installed as
president of The University
of Scranton National Alumni
Society in January 2003.
She would have been
the first woman
to hold this position.

Cate was lost to all who
knew and loved her in a
tragic auto accident on
June 7, 2002 while
traveling to Scranton.
Cate is survived by
her husband, Edward and
two children,
Michaela and Claire.
