The project closest to Mrs. Warner's heart was the Women's College of Delaware, which she helped establish and supported throughout its 31 year existence, from 1914-45.

The outstanding senior woman in each graduating class is presented with the Emalea P. Warner Award.

Warner Hall, originally called Residence Hall, was completed in 1914. Its cornerstone contains women's suffrage literature and other memorabilia. The interior furnishings ware true to Mrs. Warner's preferences and include some of her original choices.
