Inscription.  The schooner was found off Bailey's Harbor in Door County, Wisconsin. The rudder was brought up from Lake Michigan by Century Divers of Lake County, Illinois. It is estimated to be from about 1827.
 
Location. 44° 49.804′ N, 87° 23.054′ W. Marker is in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, in Door County. Marker is on North Madison Avenue. Touch for map.
